In this lesson, we will continue by studying the basic sentence structure of the Vietnamese language, including the use of subjects, predicates, and objects.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Basic syntax<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Vietnamese, unlike other languages, does not have verb conjugations based on tense, number or gender of the subject (verbs do not change). (I do not speak French.)<\/p>\n<p>\u2461 C\u00f4 \u1ea5y kh\u00f4ng kh\u1ecfe. (She is not well.)<\/p>\n<p>\u2462 Kia kh\u00f4ng ph\u1ea3i l\u00e0 nh\u00e0 h\u00e0ng Nh\u1eadt. (That is not a Japanese restaurant.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In some languages, the subject can often be omitted and the meaning still understood, but in Vietnamese, omitting the subject can make it difficult to convey the meaning clearly and might also be considered rude.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: solid 4px #f5f5f5; border-radius: 10px; background-color: #f5f5f5; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 20px 20px 5px 20px;\">\n<p><strong>Examples:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2460 Anh c\u00f3 kh\u1ecfe kh\u00f4ng?
